Service to the poor is the Service to God, In the smile of the poor is the Presence of the Divinity all these are the sound Philosophy and the governing principal of the our Founder and Chairman Mr. B.Padmanabhan who established Jayanthimala Educational Trust at Srimushnam, Cuddalore District. The founder of the trust is a great philanthropist. He is a dynamic educationalist and social worker, his aim is to Promote educationally backward and Professionally down trodden section of the society.
ABOUT THE COLLEGE
JP College of Educationwas established in the year 2014 andit is one of the most prestigious College in Srimushnam, Cuddalore District Tamilnadu. It is a private institution run by the Jayanthimala Educational Charitable Trust. JP College is affiliated to the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE),New Delhi which is the largest educational board in the country and is duly recognised by the Tamilnadu Teachers Education University (TNTEU),Chennai. Life at JP College is committed to achieve academic excellence, intellectual growth, arts, athletics, high standards of ethical awareness, sportsmanship, and community service. Depth and variety are added to each student’s life by the College’s traditions and accessibility to a broad curriculum.
JP B.Ed College is a Co-edu. College.Our college has its orgin and growth in the compassion of Mr. B. Padmanabhan. It is in Srimushnam, which is the most backward area in Cuddalore District. This college will bring a sea change in the social order of this area. "Plough the lord and feed the people" is the old slogan, which is being changed to plough the mind and serve the humanity. It is a step further towards the uplift of the suppressed, oppressed and depressed. In other words the college is aiming at Preserving and pervading the knowledge to the rural population to infuse confidence in them, to prepare themselves, to compete with other sections of the society.
Education is a life-long process, but it must develop from firm and broad foundations. The goal of the College is to imbibe in the students a love of learning and inculcate in them a desire to excel at every level. The College also aims at equipping the students with the intellectual and practical skills that are necessary to meet the inevitable challenges in the future.
ABOUT THE TEMPLE TOWN OF SRIMUSHNAM "BOOVARAGARVASWAMY AND AMBUJAVALLI"
It is a rare privilege to inform that JP College of Education has been inaugurated during the year 2014. The College is near in the town of Srimushnam which is a holy place for the Hindus especially for the Vaishnavas. Here Lord Vishnu is in the form of Boovaragavaswamy.According to the Vedas during the time of creation Hiranyashuran coming up from the body of Brahma created the earth. Without proper base the earth had immersed in the ocean. The Devas requested lord Padmanaba to bring back the earth. He took the form of varaha (avatar) and had killed Hiranyashan. He brought back the earth above the ocean. This holiest event happened in Srimushnam. Both Boovaragarvaswamy and Ambujavalli shower their blessings on the devotes.
To sum up, the mission of JP College is "to open doors and open minds" and prepare the ground for the future of the nation.
